And here is what we sampled - 2011 and 2012 vintages.:

View attachment 51282

Blend was 80% Merlot / 20% Cabernet.

Prices - Special €55 / Special Reserve €80 / Super Dooper Special Reserve €250

Pack / Box 6 botts - 2 of ea - delivered to Australia €1,716 ~A$200/bott - ah nice wine but no thanks.

BTW what is situation with receiving boxes wine say 6 / 12 / 24 botts? I understand under A$1,000 Invoice value no GST - but?

And the pressure to actually make a purchase really significant.

Each time I come back from South Africa or France I bring 2-3 dozen
I just make sure I have some appropriate invoices at the right prices
Most I've paid is $100 duty
So when coming back in R this trip will be doing the same. Just don't go over ur 50kg or SG will charge 50 euro for each kg

And here is a picture to dispel any thoughts that you might have had as to lack of knowledge possessed by the Frogs regarding Oarstrayan culture - even if their spelling leaves a bit to be desired:

Organised activity sessions for little tackers on the grass beside the river - hundreds taking part.

Well whilst infinity was 'airing his trotters around a kiddies pool' - Cruiser and the 'ette trained it out to Arcachon where we 'wrastled a few sharks':

Then we ate here:

Then on to here for some high stakes gambling:

Then we trained it back to Bordeaux! Am not sure I can keep this pace up - it's starting to take it's toll!

Stumbled upon a medieval festival in Castellina in Chianti
Happens only once a year. Amazing we jagged it

I guess if you are going to specialise in Bordeaux wines they might as well be the main feature in your restaurant:
