Free ALL Gold Status for QF Silver or above - also Points Club Plus

I just logged in and now I am Gold. Valid until 31/12/2023.

Now have to figure out whether there are hotels worth staying at Europe next year ..... Not sure about their coverage in Germany, Italy, Czechia, Austria and Hungary yet.
Plenty of Ibis properties throughout Europe but they aren’t my cup of tea unless I get stuck. Some of the Novotel and Mercure properties are ok across Europe but if there is a Sofitel they are my preference but there are some really cool MGallery properties scattered around Europe too

Do we know if being a silver member complicates things or do we need to get in contact with Accor?
I am waiting until 4 weeks after the 12th August before I begin to consider contacting anyone. SO next week.

(I have the confirmation email, dated 31st July)

Has any existing Accor Gold member successfully had their status renewed under this offer yet?

Has anyone stayed at Tribe West Perth?
Yes, used my $100 points club plus voucher there last September. Similar to a new HIX but with a cooler lobby. Air con broken in first room, moved to second room and then comfortable. Due to booking through qantas hotels i had no points earn via ALL.

I just received a reply from QFF regarding the upgrade to Gold. They repeat (after mentioning having to log in, accept and be a member, etc) that upgrades will occur within four weeks of end of offer.

"Gold status will be reflected within the member’s ALL - Accor Live Limitless account within 4 weeks of the offer end date. So around the 9th of September at the latest."

So hang in there, people.

Got the same reply from Qantas Frequent Flyer Team.

Contacted Accor Plus this Monday (by forwarding Qantas' confirmation email): I have now upgraded your Accorplus membership to Gold and a new Gold card will be sent soon.

Good news for you. How did you contact Accor? I haven't been able to find an email address or contact form.

Thanks! Were the beds softer than the concrete slabs at Holiday Inn? ;)

To be honest I don't recall. We booked last minute because the road outside our house (at the time) was being torn up and re-laid overnight and after three nights of no sleep needed an escape. So I probably would have slept well on a footpath at that point!

Did you call them or use the web form?

I spoke to them a few days ago on another matter and asked at the same time about this offer and the response was, don’t worry this will be completed soon.

No not yet, existing Gold but only till 31/12/22 showing on my account today.

Wondering if being PCP is an issue as the terms on the offer page say the below which I interpret as all QFF with status above bronze but excluding those with PCP or CL.
"This offer is available to all Qantas Frequent Flyer members, except Bronze members; unless they hold Points Club Plus and/or Chairmans Lounge benefits."

Anyone with PCP been given Gold? I was hoping to be extended as I will only get about 80% of the way as all my travel has been domestic this year and therefore shorter stays.

I’m also waiting to see what happens. I’m not PC+ but did get a prior extension to Dec 22 from ALL Accor.

I’ll believe it when I see it come thru but if it doesn’t I’ll probably just renew an Ibis Business package for comp Gold.

I think this is trying to say that Bronze members are eligible if they hold either of those statuses (since Silver and up are already eligible and having CL or PC+ would be irrelevant)

That said I am PC+ and have not yet got gold so it's not impossible that it might cause some issues with QF's fragile systems
