Thanks for the heads up... my first REAL free thing from Qantas (cept flights and lots of booze in lounges).

Yeah, no F lounge, no F flights, no direct QF flights to NZ, no parking, inadequate terminal transer. But hey we get free tickets to the movies, except spiderman.

Not sure whether I would call free movie tickets an advantage. More than likely I will get to view Die Hard 4.0 in the QF Cinema in the sky (some call it AVOiD) when I return from my RTW in September.

ah but when QF matches a NZ sale the SC earning rate can be very good, much better than east coast

unfortunately QF chose not to match the latest NZ business sale - perhaps because it was too good and had a lengthy travel period?
