Yes sure, I was thinking of what @Matt_01 had said earlier on how they can be used, that the passes are only good for SYD, MEL and LAX.
They can be used to get into other QF lounges however I would consider this a waste. QF only has 3 F lounges, with SIN opening up later this year so one could expect they will be excepted there. I know there are technically 4 F lounges but I do not count NZ. Also codeshares are not covered.

With the recent rule changes for F lounge access for guests travelling on other OW carriers, there has been no mention if P1 guest passes can be used for OW guests, at the moment would suspect not.

In my opinion if you do not meet the requirement for these F longe access passes to be used at MEL, SYD, LAX, and in the future SIN, travelling on QF metal, QF flight number wait for general longe access passes, they are always given away here. Using these passes at any lounge other than F is a waste.

This is a cut and paste from my QF account

P1 – Benefit – can be used at any Qantas Club domestic lounge, Qantas International Lounge, Qantas operated International Business Lounge (excluding Los Angeles Tom Bradley International Terminal) and Qantas International First Lounge when departing on a Qantas or Jetstar flight number. View the Platinum One Benefit terms and conditions.

If you are used to frequenting the First Class lounge then that is true. However I think for the vast majority raising their hands here the passes would represent quite a treat.

Exactly what I was alluding to. To many folks it is a big deal, a once in a lifetime thing and rightly so. Being completely honest I still enjoy each visit even after having access since it's inception back in 2007 iirc.
So for P1's to offer a chance at access where most would never be able to is something I truly admire so again @ecst well done.

Would love to be considered! Have always wanted to check out the F lounge in SYD or MEL and my upcoming flight to Hawaii in October would be perfect!
Very generous offer, thanks!

@ecst Would love to be considered. Have an upcoming trips within Australia and even to Europe in Jul 2020. I will be travelling with my partner and kiddo , so it will be a pleasant surprise to have the pass.

Appreciate your noble gesture. Cheers !!

Personally I think that the OP has put these out to the wider AFF community as he or she may not use them. As a P1 we already get WP gifting and depending on your situation that gives you F lounge access for up to 4 PAX, the P1, the gift WP each with x1 guest. When I see comments like posted #104 I wonder if people are throwing their hat in the ring as they see F lounge in the title. These are single use passes and stating you are off to EU in Jul which is outside of the expiry period, domestic use is just wasted.

As a P1 I have these available to gift to others and whist I admire @ecst generosity if I was the OP I would be inclined to ask the mods to shut down this thread and open another with clearly defined rules and conditions. As I have given away a number of general QF passes and a couple of F passes I would not like to be in the position that the OP as I think there is a good chance they will just go to waste.

Oh god, I have lost track of time and thought it was still 2018. I regretfully withdraw my application as we are not planning to go to Japan until October. (mind you I have three weeks off in March, perhaps I should reconsider!!!)

Wow, first lounge would be a fantastic experience! Please put me in the running thanks

Sorry for my lack of knowledge, but I am flying via LAX on QANTAS but - Does "(excluding Los Angeles Tom Bradley International Terminal)" mean that I can't really use the pass in it's "best" way?

P1 Guest passes can be used at TBIT at the F lounge only as it is QF operated and the flight needs to be a QF Flight number on QF metal. QF General Lounge passes cannot be used at TBIT as the J lounge is OW operated.

IMO and that is all it is, if one is not flying from a location that has a QF F lounge, on a QF flight and metal the offer that the OP has made could be wasted if the PAX does not understand the rules. As an aside when I gave away a couple a year or so back I actually excluded my parents as they were flying out of SYD J on a CX flight code and I knew QF would not let them into the F lounge on this basis.

Thanks Heaps!
So I still have fingers crossed!!!
May I suggest you seriously check to ensure you are able to use these, if you are unsure you are eligible then it would be a nice thing to do and exclude yourself

This is exactly what I just double checked (or so I thought) - to confirm I could use a pass if I was lucky enough to win
Flying from LAX with QANTAS on QANTAS - What else is there to check?

Would love to be included. I have only experienced the business lounge twice and that was fun but have never experienced the first class lounge, i hear much better things about it and would love to experience it. Sadly I dont fly for work so only chance i had for passes was with a CC that gave me 2 once. But I had to get rid of the card due to the annual fee being so high :(
