The gardens




















The gardens feature a "Dykewalk" along the remains of 400 hundred year old dykes built by the original Acadian settlers to reclaim land from the tidal waters.

We drove right past that place on the way to the Greenwich National Park but it looks like the trees screened it from the road.

Not a garden as such but I found it quite peaceful wandering around and lots of greenery Hampstead Cemetery - Wikipedia

It was good to have a tour (which you have to do in the West side) but I did enjoy wandering around the East Side by myself
