Hi everyone, I'm a new member to this community.

I've just had Virgin match my Qantas Platinum status with Velocity Platinum status (Thank you, Virgin). I'm doing a Melbourne-Sydney-Adelaide-Melbourne loop this week to check out Virgin as I've flown Qantas for many, many years, but have become quite jaded with them recently so though I'd try Virgin, and see what the experience is like.

I've worked out selecting Economy X seating, but any other tips for a well-seasoned Qantas traveller adjusting to Virgin would be great as I'm a total newbie to Virgin :)

Cheers
Greg

Welcome!

I'm sure you'll get the hang of Virgin before too long! One thing to be aware of is Fly Ahead, which is a Platinum perk that I really value (as someone who flies a lot between MEL-SYD). If you arrive at the airport early (or as a Platinum you can call them earlier in the day) more often than not if you ask for an earlier flight they'll be able to put you on it.
