Getting around LA..

In the early days of GPS they were known as "never f...ing lost" when it put me into east LA once.

Have had a few interesting GPS moments in the UK. Asking us to make turn at non existent intersections amd blocked exits on roundabouts, (but i am sure road works cant be authomatically known by gps programs) Plus sending us down windy little roads that only a goat should walk on. We lived to talk about it ha ha.

Agreed; I'd suggest checking www.rentalcars.com; for a guesstimated 75% of my bookings over the last couple of years (within Australia and for trips to the UK and USA), they've been significantly cheaper than booking direct with a car hire company. Run a quick check against the cost of booking directly with Hertz / Avis etc. just to be sure, but I got a massive saving through them when booking a car for a trip to LA (an open-top Mustang :D)

Sorry - can't remember off the top of my head. Others here may know, or try making a dummy booking and see what appears in the charges
