I'm a VA Silver and nothing on QF, and just made my 50th post here!
My favourite airline experience is on ground when I had the great luck of visiting the QF Hangar 96 and an A380 in maintenance. Best day ever!

i do have a comittment to to VA shown in my years of status membership but unfortunately after a redundancy and some family medical issues I have now dropped all the way to red so don't meet your requirements. However, I would still like to share my best airline experience.

i had the opportunity to upgrade my family to business class on a Perth flight with VA when there was a points special some years back it was also the first time for me as well. Seeing the look on their faces was just so good. They really enjoyed every minute. Definitly my favourite flight ever.

Thanks to NZflygirl I got the gold status yesterday and is very excited. I never had gold membership before with any Airline so this will give me a completely new experience, hope I don't end up getting addicted to flying! (Who am I joking on AFF )

Thanks again to NZflygirl for the wonderful offer, I am always amazed at the generosity of AFF members and I will try to contribute as much as I can.

Anyway, better late than never!
Sorry been brief recently, been on the run.

They said 400sc to requalify for gold, starts 15 August so that's new anniversary date and card should be out to you in 14 days I think.

Those two smileys are good but this is my favourite.

When this came up I couldn't think of one favourite experience, maybe i have been on a plane too much, I could probably have a top 10, anyway I would have been ineligible.
