Paid a year's of content insurance premium with my amex card at GIO and got 5k bonus point!
 
But it might be the 5000point promotion from the amex card. But then it's listed as as 'acquisition bonus' on the statement and the first 2500pts was listed as '2,500 bonus points'

when i was on the phone with GIO, they said there was a bonus if i used my amex.

anyone else got the qantas amex discovery card who can shed some light on how the bonus points showed up on the statement?
