No disc at all! That's impressive for so long, maybe they didn't have the artificial disks to replace it with back then? A mate got some sort of titanium disk replacement a few years ago when his went AWOL
I think I was a year too early from modern invention then there’s approvals from Govs etc. The only other option was spinal fusion - being only 30 it was much too early. Orthos do fusions but neurosurgeons - back then anyway, don’t.
