Global Tranfer Rate Australia Amex MR to Canada Amex MR

Looking to transfer AMEX Membership Rewards points from Australia to Canada. It mentions that MR points are converted based upon currency rate at the time, so I assume a 10% variance.

Has anyone done this recently -

• How did the conversion work for you?


• Was the exchange rate favorable or not as expected?


I’d love to hear about your experience, especially if you’ve noticed any discrepancies or tips for maximising point transfers.

The transfer is at the true forex rate.
