I'll call it now. Expect to see these discounted in future, most likely being offered with some wine. Was only a few weeks ago they were flogging a pair with a bottle or two of wine for $39 on the QF wine store.

Also, think they have missed the boat a little with the Olympics. Surely the lead up was the time to do this?

Finally, did QF really spend money on pyjamas or do you think these were ordered and committed to pre-Covid?

I love my “road to rio” olympics PJs from 2016. I happened to be on QF93 in F at the time and one of the FAs was nice enough to go and grab me a set from the J cabin as a souvenir. They’ve shrunk a little after going through the wash many times but still good and I continue to wear them when winter rolls around.

Anyone wonder if they held back on this promo just in case AUS failed in the pool and we didn't get any golds or anything? as it if they'd sent it nefpre the start and after a week we had like 2 silvers and a Bronze they may have felt it could backfire? i dunno. clutching at straws here.

related but honestly how good has Australia been with water related sports with a relatively tiny population beating these huge countries and the like. it's pretty brilliant really.

When international travel returns there will most likely be a stock pile off the 100 and Olympic PJ's to be given out on flights. QF were still handing out the road to rio ones in mid-late 2015.

I would guess that all emails were sent at the same and the template for the P1s is worded to lull us into the belief that we are getting something ahead of the masses. Most P1's and WP that I know have more QF PJs than they know what to do with.

I’ll pour cold water on that theory as (a WP) I didn’t get an email at all and only realised they were for sale when I saw the thread on here

That's the only sizes I've ever seen being offered on flights. I don't think other sizes exist.

I did think about it for a nano second but then I do have about 10 pairs that don't get worn that much. Still love my Rio ones though
