I assume VA will beat this by $50 - they seem to have a lot of room to play with in their J pricing.

(EDIT: just checked - VA are already beating every one of these GC J fares except to PER).

QF's normal domestic J pricing is a LOT more expensive than VA....

Some pretty good status run prices there rivaling the Tasman LAN run for value and way less hassle.

Best value for the cash-based SFSCs out there is definitely OOL/ADL at $3.69/SC without cc charges included, earning 100 SC for one-way. Only bummer is that it can't be done same day unless you start from ADL, then it's tight turnaround at the U-turn point (luckily it's just OOL).

I'm actually surprised that QF opened up a huge date range for the sale.

For those pundits wanting to do QF81 on the way to ADL, it's only on sporadic days and the connection time is only 90 minutes, which would barely give you any time to even get a coffee in the F Lounge.

For me, the other real PITA is that in order to take advantage of this, I'd either have to "position" into ADL, or schlepp to OOL from BNE. :(
