Just got this email saying my gold status is being extended 8 months, but the review date was my original review date. Very strange. Am I alone here?

Sep 22 for me. Which is what I was expecting.

I saw it had rolled over in the app and email arrived yesterday.

Are they extending it 8mths from our review date of Jun 10 2022? So Feb 2023?

Yup I got this email too. But seems like they are just randomly announcing the previous extension again which is pretty confusing. My tier review date is still exactly the same...

They have just extended my Gold status for 8 months; my new review date is now 28 Feb.

Hi Kooka,
We are pleased to let you know that your Gold membership has been extended, as promised to you in September 2021.

Your new review date is 28 February 2023.*

Happy days again, as long as they start flying more to Canberra.
