Have you ever had any issues transferring these to people? I have two that I want to transfer to sister and bro-in-law but won’t be travelling with them. I booked their flights through my account but t&cs say must be flying with them. If I transfer to their ff account, she should be able to link. Bit nervous as got given the passes by ff I met in lounge. Would sound dodgy to Qantas but no $$$ changed hands.

I am not aware of any restriction as long as i do not sell these passes. i have transferred a few to my colleagues at work, it's been fine so far.

Thanks again Longtoo, both passes were well utilised. I got to Canberra 3 hours before my flight hoping to get put on an earlier flight (no luck) so got ample time in that lounge. I arrived in Melbourne about 1.5 hours before my flight and QF49 was delayed by an hour, so got to kill time in there as well.
I am not a frequent user of lounges however if I had to pay the advertised prices for lounge membership, i would find it very underwhelming. The only way you could justify the cost if you were a big alcohol consumer.
