Good News! Pyjamas on (almost) all Qantas international flights in J!

Agree. Pullman Auckland airport most recently and at least half of the places I stayed at in Europe last Christmas. May be a residue for their better places? The cheapies probably got rid of them earlier.

I think it depends on the country - in some like Western Europe and the US, single use plastics is a turn off, particularly for wealthier guests.

The EU has banned them from 2030. California has already banned them, New York and Illinois starts this year.

Any hotels still stocking them probably are working their way through exhausting stocks, I doubt any in developed countries where these regulations are, or are likely to come in, would be buying more.

I'd disagree about the US. They couldn't care less based on my experiences there in January. I was shocked at how bad single use plastic and other item usage is. Total lack of recycling etc.

Depends on the state.

TX, UT and AZ.

SLC was so bad that the bar of hand soap would be thrown out by housekeeping each day, despite barely being used and always placed in the soap tray. SLC and DFW hotels had single use coffee cups in the room....wrapped in single use plastic. Same deal in the gym at the Hilton Plano. Kinda ironic for a germaphobic society to be so against a vaccine.

Anyway, I'll end it here before I get in too much trouble for going OT :)

Yep, those are all fairly red states.

Go to places like WA, OR, VT, NY or even CA it’s completely different.
