In the past week or so when viewing AFF on my phone via the browser I get this popup.

It doesn’t happen with any other website.

Is it an AFF thing, or has my phone been hacked?

If it’s not an AFF thing, any idea why it only happens when I’m on AFF?

EDIT: And I’ve purged my history as per the link provided by @serfty so let see if it returns today.

I force quit safari (double tap/swipe up) and then cleared history and data and restarted. Appears to have solved the problem. Not quitting safari prior to clearing history didn’t work.

AFF Supporters can remove this and all advertisements

Pretty much confirms it's an advertiser as originally thought. Without knowing which though, it's hard to determine how to report them. Can you recall what the ads were on the page before you got the pop-up?
There weren’t an ads, I was just clicking through to a forum thread when the pop up happened. I’ll try again.

Got it again. Peugeot and a trade showing. I was looking at replies to my posts.

Which then goes to this without clicking anything. It’s something that google ads is doing.

I’m only getting this on flyertalk and not AFF.

Has anyone had luck fixing this on an iPad? I only have problem on AFF with iPad (4G and WiFi). Have cleared all cookies and data etc. but hasn’t helped.

I don’t have the problem with AFF (Gold subscriber), but do so with Flyertalk. Seems to be related to adverts (Silver and Gold AFF members do not see Adverts)

This is why I use an ad blocker.

Never encountered using one any problems on this website or any other. And no advertisers tracking my website browsing habits.

I get the pop up on my phone when on home WiFi (Telstra). Never get it on 4G (Vodafone). I’ve started turning WiFi off when accessing AFF.
