l'm a first-time traveler and need
some clarification regarding my flight.
l'l be traveling next week from Manila to
Christchurch, and I booked a flight with Qantas. I recently received an email with the subject "Confirmation and E-Ticket Flight Itinerary," which contained a single PDF file. When I opened it, I saw "Itinerary Receipt" in the upper left corner, and on the right side, there was a barcode along with a six-character alphanumeric booking reference.

Now, here's where I got confused. During my research, I found people online saying that an "Itinerary" and an "E-Ticket" are not the same. So, if that's the case, when will I receive my actual ticket? It's been
seven days since I booked my flight, and I still haven't received anything other than the Itinerary Receipt.

And I did try to re-send the tax invoice and Itinerary to my email from the Qantas App and it still sending the PDF file that doesn't show any ticket number.

  • Your e-ticket number, this a 13 digit number starting with 081
From memory check my trip will show this

Or just give QF a call and ask them to confirm ticketing

Yeah, from what I gathered online it should be 13 digit number that starts with 081 and supposed to be on the same column of my name and frequent flyer number, but in this case it only has my name and ff number.

I'll try to call them tomorrow because their customer service here in the philippines isn't open 24x7. I did got a respond from facebook though so I hope they can help.
