got QF Amex but no one accepts it...

was going to dump my QF amex due to the up coming annual fees. Rang up Amex and told them i wanted to cancel the card and they offered to waive the annual fees for next year. Good on u Amex!!!

I also managed to waive the annual fee on my QF Amex, then cancelled the card and transferred the fee waiver to my previously dumped Amex Rewards Maximiser Card.:lol:

I attempt to purchase anything and everything on Amex initially, if it's rejected or the vendor imposes additional surcharges, I then resort to my Citibank visa card.
However there are other benefits by Amex not just reward points such as for dining at certain restaurants you get % discounts etc.

I also received a fee waiver on the supplementary card and a credit limit increase, which I didn't even ask for.:)
