ok, i give in.... what was the grammar error in the BBC post? (2177 above)
Wouldn't it be "I may be there"?
*May beMaybe.
Maybe and may be confuses me a lot.
"I maybe there" is wrong right? Wouldn't it be "I may be there"?
I try to err on side of caution and use "may be" more often. So in your example it would be 'I may be there'. Easy way to determine is to substitute the words above. 'I perhaps there' doesn't make sense. I 'might be there' does (make sense).

You may be right, maybe I'm wrong. That's just as wrong as being wrong.

I may try that next time!Might may be right.
Correct usage in common form. But IMHO (had to throw IMHO in), the only correct usage is "may be". The "word" maybe is an abomination.....
DefinitelyIt's been around since the 15th century. 'May be' and 'maybe' aren't interchangeable, they have distinct uses.

And no maybes!Billy Joel said something like this in his song:
So many issues. My bolding on the spelling error. Not to mention the comma that should be a full stop."The tasting menu at the Bommie restaurant is the perfect option for dinners wanting to experience a wider selection of food prepared by Chef Trent Dawson and his team, the dishes are designed to excite the palette and take you in a journey through the menu leaving you satiated with a lasting memory."
Must be a restaurant for artists only!
