Grange in the F lounge

Good to know. Another motivation to get P1, I’d think.
Not really. You can pick up a bottle of grange for about the same price as a (non-sale) SYD>MEL J fare which would only net you 40 SCs or ~1% of P1.

I'd much rather have a whole bottle of grange than a dom QF J flight with a crowded lounge, sub-standard food and wine offering and a potential onboard recognition from crew.

2002 in the MEL F decanter today.

They had just finished the decanter as I was arriving but I managed to snag two glasses from the 2nd opening.

It's been 45 minutes and they haven't yet opened another, so either they are spreading them out over the day or they have a couple of bottles per day, and once they're gone that's it.

In the lounge now, still serving it. P1 flying business, no escort, put myself behind the roped area 😂
Also no gift? But others are being escorted and being gifted. Maybe the first 380 passengers?

For the first time whilst taking my order for breakfast yesterday she looked at my boarding pass and said I should sit in the roped off area, so I guess it’s something you have to do yourself if it is busy. In London and Singapore I have been escorted to a reserved spot.

Bronze here, I will try the same since they are not monitoring lol.

Presumably you’ll have a F BP to get past Nestor? So you’ll be entitled to the roped off area anyway…💁

In the Sydney F lounge now. The Grange ran out yesterday apparently.

The lounge is quite quiet with QF1 delayed by two hours.
There was a little Grange in decanter yesterday morning at the bar. They must have got to it early.
