Is anyone else from AFF going on the Great Southern Land scenic flight this Saturday October 10? Apparently the package includes a pre-flight breakfast in the Sydney domestic J lounge from 8am.

A seven-hour scenic flight around Australia ?

Alan Joyce was just interviewed on RN. Fran Kelly mentioned in the intro a seven-hour scenic flight around Australia taking in rock, reef, bridge etc. Didn't get picked up in the interview and nothing running in media yet. Does anyone know anything about this?

I spotted it parked at BNE yesterday with all its wheels taped up so I doubt it...

Are you sure the one you saw in BNE wasn't VH-ZNJ - the one with the centenary livery? That one is stored in Brisbane. VH-ZND isn't showing as having been moved since June on Flight Radar 24 and I saw it at SYD on Monday

Just got sent an email about tomorrow. Much of it we already knew although there were a couple of new things.

Apparently the celebrity host "may involve a performance by an iconic Australian artist" and we'll disembark "at the hangar".

Also apparently we won't be able to change into our PJs on the flight so we should in the lounge but will be given them there.

I wonder if its just so they don't have people getting changed in their seats on the plane - would there really be a problem with getting changed in the bathroom?

Lol I imagine that they prefer not to have everyone lining up to use the lavatories to change - and instead letting those who need to use the restroom do so

I really want to see a photo if all those passengers boarding in their PJs.

And of course if you have a pair of F PJs then they must be worn.
