Great work NZ staff

I flew MEL AKL SFO and return this last month and must send a compliment to the staff of Air New Zealand.

Their work was of a consistently excellent standard on the four sectors. As good as any I have flown with and that includes most full service airlines.

Keep it up NZ.

What specifically did you like about the service?

The staff were smiling and friendly without imposing, they were efficient in their service in particular they were observant of the status of your drink/meal/bed.
In many airlines the crew are focussed on one facet of service to the detriment of their situational awareness.
Generally we were adressed by name throughout each sector not just a token greeting on entry. On exit we were thanked by name on a number of occasions.This despite us having no status with NZ.
They appear to have a good training regime.
