Hahn Premium getting the axe in QC

Yeah because most people in the QP mix it with coke or dry. JW and chivas are decent scotch for such purposes.

True you can do much with things that are considered ordinary in the first place. But in relation to scotch, if you can only taste coke, it makes no difference what scotch it's mixed with.

Might have to share a Laphroaig sometime....

I find Jameson's to be the best option. Easy to enjoy in the pure form and the price is right, compared to scotch.

Since I’ve started visiting QP’s I’ve thought of Blue Tongue as the beer of choice. Do they even serve it anymore (the last x number of my flights have left before lunchtime)?

10 years ago, across all/most QP's it was basically a choice between HP or VB ... there were local additions... no wonder it was a "BoC".

I must admit it did take little while to get used to it when it first hit the QP's.

I can't speak for those couple of people, as I wasn't amongst them. But given the limited choice at the time (that or VB), HP seemed to be a clear choice looking around the clubs at the time.

Perhaps Hahn Premium may indeed have been a better choice than VB but it is clearly nothing to rave about....
