Half a point per dollar ??

I recently queried why I had only received half a point per dollar on onwe of my AMEX CARDS - Gold and was advised friom 1st July - Utilities, Insurance payments and Government expenditure is half a point !!

Does not seem to apply to my Amex Platinum Qantas card but looks like the Gold charge card attached to Ascent rewards is affected

Essentially all direct MR Ascent/Ascent Premium Amex cards are affected, or will be by 1/10 this year. Co-branded cards, like bank issued Amex and QFF or VFF Amex don't yet seem to have been hit with the reduction.
