Haneda; Early Baggage Drop and Lounge Access?

Just a few cliff notes here even though your trip has ended.

1: The dedicated business and first check in areas at HND T1 are fantastic, Especially as mentioned the floor level conveyors. I have not used the Business one but the first one also has dedicated security immediately behind and straight into the lounge from memory.

2: Japanese efficiency somewhat dictates that these lounges be sparse as business travellers and even those travelling for leisure domestically tend to spend as little time post security as possible. The International lounges are fantastic and returning to pre-covid levels of service very quickly now.

(Also the Diamond Premier (First) lounge has hands down the best view from a lounge on earth if you get a clear day)

That is terrific and interestig - thanks and makes sense. Yes - if anyone was to ask this lowly bronze travelling in J I would say check in your bags (T1) and find somewhere to hang out in a restaurant. As security is so easy behind check-in you can just go through pretty much when it is time to board with little or no hold up.

The one thing we DID find were invaluable though were the quiet rooms and the huge (almost ) flat chairs. With a 5 hour wait and jet lagged they were a huge bonus.

By the way - we could see that mountain from the lounge too. I thought it was Fuji but the shape looked wrong. . It looked great in the sunset!

This is much better than flying VAi via CNS to other parts of Aust.
No lounge access is already one downside of the CNS - HND flight.

I am checking in tomorrow (Friday) at Haneda for a domestic transit to Osaka with JL in J (Part of a OWA) on route to BKK. I already have seat allocation and will have checked in online.

I understand that I can do a machine baggage drop and wanted to ask:

1. Will it work about 90m before normal check-in
2. Will I then have access to the lounge that far ahead?
Speed Test
Hope you can help.
Thanks!
I feel even before covid there was less food in a Sakura lounge than a US domestic lounge. Only the DP lounge had onigiri, bread, etc.
