Hey guys,
I'm about to buy a few bigger things at Harvey Norman and was thinking about if there is any way to max out the points I might get.
As neither Coles or Woolies are selling any giftcards for Harvey Norman as far as I know I'm a bit dumbfounded if I'm missing any other good ideas on that.

The search sadly did only show me some old promotions. :(

Any ideas?

Kindest regards,
Phil

Amex offering bonus points for Hardly Normal purchases atm.

Just make sure you get them to price match someone who isn't a rip off!

Looking for a 1TB Toshiba portable HDD atm and found generally for sale around $99 most places (e.g. Officeworks) and as low as $73. Hardly Normal have same HDD for $159!...really.

Ugh, yea they really are chancers! But if you cite the cheaper price they do match it, no?

Officeworks will better the price by 5%. And I will buy an officeworks gift card at Woolies for the 3 points. ;)

Only for stock they carry in store. I've tried that one on a NAS before and they wouldn't honor it because it was something they kept at the warehouse rather than on hand :/

Is this a recent change? Officeworks price matched Kogan less 5% for an item they had to special order from Sony. Took a week to arrive but it saved me a couple of hundred bucks.

I bought the Toshiba 1TB drive from Officeworks that they advertise for $99. My price? $77. ;)

think you can get up to 10000 points bonus depending on level of spend.

Also i think the only thing worth buying from HN right now... is the Xperia z1

I went there yesterday with the view to buying a new Macbook (if they'd do 10% off). Unfortunately they were closing and wouldn't let me in ... no 120k points for me :(

Im pretty sure you can buy $2000.00 worth of HN gift cards which will be valid for 24 months :)

That will give you a bonus of 10,000 points (2500 points per $500) up to a maximum for 10,000 points

Surely within that 24month period you could find something to purchase at HN

Has anyone else noticed that Harvey Norman is no longer listed as a bonus partner on the Amex website, I was about to buy a laptop from there but am wondering if this deal is finished ?? Does anyone know ?

I spent > $2,000 in one transaction and was only awarded 2,500 bonus points. Rang up the call centre two weeks ago and they confirmed I am entitled to another 7,500 points but they have yet to be credited. I've been lucky and never had any problems with points issuance in the past so the question is should I be patient or call again?

be patient, it can take 7-8 weeks for bonus points to post.

Astroboi this promotion ended 31st October so you missed out mate.
