Has anyone successfully received points from the Suncorp Platinum credit card even though they churned a credit card in the last 12 months?

Terms and conditions, fees and charges apply and are available on request. Existing Suncorp Bank Credit Cardholders are not eligible to apply for introductory offers. Introductory credit card offers are not available in conjunction with a Home Package Plus package or any other offer. Should you choose to take up an introductory offer an Annual Card fee will apply.


The terms and conditions only state Existing credit card holders but does not outline the exclusion period.
I called and they were not able to provide any T&Cs with this specific information.
I have searched all threads but no one has seemed to pick up that this might be a loop hole?

I'm also interested in this. I closed my account around 6 months ago, and can't see they have specifically excluded to a set time frame. I've checked wording against both their Qantas and Suncorp Rewards options and they appear to have the same wording.
