Has anyone used a Fasttrack method to gain Hilton Honours Gold status?

I have some trips planned, starting next week in Melbourne, followed later in the year by Singapore and then Hong Kong. I am keen to FastTrack to Hilton Honours Gold whilst in Melbourne using HSW and Doubletree Melbourne. This will enable me to take advantage of my Gold status on my future planned trips.

Does anyone have any suggestions about which would be the best method to use?

I am a bit concerned by the underlined wording I have copied from the link above.
"Being a valued member of the Hilton Family MVP program pays off. Just complete four qualifying stays or nine qualifying nights within the 90-day period of your choice and reach Gold VIP status faster than ever! (It normally takes 16 qualifying stays in a consecutive 12-month period). Exclusively for MVP Members. Offer valid at all U.S. Hilton®, Doubletree®, Embassy Suites Hotels® and Hilton Garden Inn® hotels and at select U.S. Hilton Grand Vacations Club® locations, Hampton Inn® and Hampton Inn & Suites® hotels."

It would appear that the offer is just for stays in US based hotels. I hope I am reading this incorrectly.

My sister has enrolled in this MVP challenge and has had her first stay about 10 days ago in Perth. She has previously used another challenge successfully. In that successful challenge, after her first stay a slider appeared on her login page counting down the number of stays required to achieve gold status. This time on the MVP challenge, the slider has not appeared.

It's not supposed to be restricted to US stays. I haven't seen the slider that you are referring to and did not see the US stay references. I last used MVP about 4 years Go.

used the MVP in march april in Aus, 4 stays for gold, a few issues, slider and number of stays remaining was there after the first stay, then disappeared, called US HHonors phone number to confirm I was registered for the challenge, all ok, fourth stay there was an issue where it sat in pending for two weeks, again called US Hhonors phone number to correct this issue after local contact centre said to wait 5 to 10 days for it to post correctly. Over the phone to US was corrected on the spot and 4th stay triggered the gold, he confirmed that, and have since utilised Gold.

I am planning to book my flights and hotel accommodation today. I was tossing up whether to do the mattress run or just stay at the Pullman on the Park for the 6 days. But now I will definitely go ahead with the MVP.

I didn't say earn, I said spend. You get 2 free nights + Diamond + at least 40k HH points.

My bookkeeper got one because they were going to Europe for a month to see family and we just put through $40k of normal business stuff that could only go through Visa/MC. For the night redemption's, I think they way it worked was, use free night for Sunday, they pay for Mon-Wed, get 5th night free (Thurs) and use free night for Friday, and hopefully get upgrades for the lot. Comparatively, they get far more out of it than we would have gotten for the 40k points.

Just saying, it never hurts to ask your boss if they have some spend they can put through it (so long as you get the re-imbursement )

I did a fast track a few months ago. Used the accenture 5 or 6 stay promo. Worked fine.
