Has QANTAS given up on their website?

The last three flights I have booked with Qantas have been through the App.

I much prefer to book using the website,but each time I have tried the site refuses to show me any flights?

The screen just goes black and then nothing happens

First they cut the travel agents commission. . . then they make it harder to book!

Is this another area where they have lost the plot? . . or is this some weird strategy?

I have had no issues with the QF web site on a laptop (Wndows 8 & firefox)
Working on iPad also. But there have been times when it’s misbehaved on various browsers. The 2FA can upset it from time to time.

If “clear cache and cookies” doesn’t work, it could be all manner of browser settings issues (eg block popups, tracking etc) or even VPN settings that could be upsetting the website?

Interesting that trying 'Clear Cache and Cookies' worked, but why was the site so sensitve?

Using the Chrome browser, without blocking pop ups and no VPN.

It's just more changing web technology. Browsers change over time but the site hasn't. It also fixes itself if you're in incognito.

Actually not true (at least with the UI)

Other threads on here discussing recent changes to the site all the time. Changing for better or worse depending on the users bias and needs at the time.I particularly dislike the changes where everything is blown up across several pages instead of neatly on the same page as before (a problem it seems with several different company redesigns)

I’ve had occasional issues playing around repeatedly varying different combinations with 14-16 sector CR multi-city itineraries and it has a hiccup with some tiny tinpot airport connection somewhere in murica and it gives up and displays an error message. i used to have some issues with it bombing out not being able to price some complicated itineraries across 5 airlines but not had a problem of late. I just restart the browser and if that doesn't work restart my ancient laptop.

I do online banking across five different banks all except NAB on chrome (my preferred browser) For some reason I can’t get NAB to load on my ancient laptop in Chrome but works fine on another browser (and on the mobile app).

This happens to me but the app is not immune to quirks
