Has tonight's EK414 arrival a dispensation to break SYD curfew?

EK414 has started its descent. JQ817 is to land on 16R. The Flight Radar site claims that it will land at 2303, yet it is behind TT816 that is shown as landing at 2306.

However looking at the site, TT816 is about to land at approximately 2255, so it will (just) make curfew. EK414 is still shown as a 2316 arrival which I think is the time of arrival at the gate, not touchdown time.

Yep noticed those timings as well !

Looks like they will scrape it in ....TT816 on the ground and JQ817 about 5 mins behind , so right on 11 ... as for EK414 ..she is still coming

There is also JQ817 from BNE . ETA 23.18

Edit : TT816 is also pushing it .

Well at 2257 it's currently at an altitude of 18,725 so definitely won't touch down until well after 2300 if my flightradar24 app is correct.

FR has updated now...

and she is down ...can hear the reverse thrust from my place at Kogarah.

The recalcitrant EK414 has just landed at 2314, and is now taxiing to the gate.

A clear breach of curfew. One wonders if the airline will in time be significantly fined.

Doubt EK414 was going any faster than normal in terms of airspeed. Given the distance from DXB, it certainly wouldn't have enough juice left to go anywhere near MCT.

Watched this on Flightradar last night ... the fastest 'ground speed' I saw was 621 kts .....(what's that, a tick over 1,150 km/h ?) just near West Wyalong before starting decent. Nice tail wind assist.
