I thought it was only I that had a feeling of being underwhelmed by this.

Make that 3 of us.

Carlsberg, no thanks! I'll stick with Coopers Pale Ale or Bluetongue. :)

Cheers,
- Febs.

I think I drank my lifetime quota of Carlsberg when I was staying on Langkawi.

Impossible - whilst you still draw a breath, you can draw a Carlsberg!

LOL, should be a beer promo catch phrase..... hehehe
:):):):):)

Mr!

??

I helped myself to many a Stella on tap last Friday at the INTL J Lounge.
No tap beer in F Lounge???
Mind you; I wouldn't lose sleep over it.

Yup nothing on tap in the F lounge. Well I haven't been there for a month or so and they def didn't have any then.

Quite a nice selection of bottled premium beers but none on tap.

MMM Coopers on tap mmmmm....

You guys need to go and get some "class" lessons :)

Carlsberg most definitely != class!

Bluetongue and Squires on the other hand...now there are some class beers. :)

All I remember of Carlsberg is it being the most seedy, cheapest beer available around Asia. Pass...

Sydney Qantas Club business lounge has Carlsberg on tap - finally I have found something good in Sydney!
Can you please let us know when you find anything even remotely resembling good in Melbourne. ;)

Doesn't that distinction belong to Tiger Beer? Or Anchor even (if it still exists?).
Nothing wrong with Tiger beer!

For me it is Carlsberg in Singapore, Kuala Lumpur and possibly Hong Kong and it is Tiger in Thailand when I am not drinking vodka and orange (apparently this is a screwdriver which I did not know).

...vodka and orange (apparently this is a screwdriver which I did not know).

JohnK,

Calling it a screwdriver lets the bar charge for a coughtail:shock:

Stick to vodka and orange;)

Rest assured you will not hear me calling it a screwdriver. I shall continue to drink vodka and orange.

I don't know why you go on the defensive about Sydney JK, after all, rumour has it you are a fully pledged Queenslander now and have applied for a visitors Visa to pop into Sydney every now and again... ;)

Now, it would be easier to list the bad things that come out of Melbourne... The Hume Highway for example, its an easy conduit for NSW citizens to access the Peoples Republic of Victoria, Victoria Bitter (AKA Wife Basher) and Barry Hall... other than that, I am stumped...

Hehehehe

Defensive? Sydney is the greatest city in the world. It does not need me to defend it.

As for my sojourn into Queensland, it is just that. With every passing day I get closer to returning home. Can't wait....
