Have I found a way to exclude Jetstar flights from booking engine search?

If I search for flights from the Home page for a one-way BNE-CNS on 16 November and the following flight options appear

Or alternatively from the Home page click Book and then Flights and then Flights from Australia and then Qantas flights from and the following page appears. Enter a one-way BNE-CNS on 16 November and the following flight options appear

• QF505/QF924
• QF1760/QF2300
• QF968/QF2300
• QF968/QF2312

The Jetstar flight options have disappeared! Have fun....

Yes but I actually think the search becomes a lot neater without the JQ flights as they take up space that could have easily been used to display QF flights.

I have noticed many times when booking international flights with connections the ones displayed are not quite enough as they have used the space to display JQ flights.

Shouldn't this be in the sealed section?

Happy to share where possible.

I just hope Qantas does not see this as a glitch and then tries to fix it! :shock:

I am suspicious that this may be temporary, I tried replicating what JohnK did and saw JQ flights, but when I went to this page:

Then the JQ flights went missing.

I also noticed that depending on the dates that are entered - the CNS-SYD JQ flights also went totally AWOL from booking choices on the QF site.

That is OK as well. If there are no QF flights then I am sure there will be some Virgin or Tiger flights. And if they don't have any flights then I cannot think of a good enough reason to go where only JQ flies....
