Just to clarify - this is what I am seeing the next day after flying, on my Velocity statement, two VA domestic flights on same day and same PNR - one flight upgraded from Y to J using a classic velocity points upgrade, and the second flight (same PNR and booking) flown in Y class cabin (no upgrade attempted).
I assume this is what other people are seeing? Pretty wasteful that VA will be expecting everyone to call and ask for their Velocity SC and points earning to be manually corrected in the event that their points aren't posting correctly. Now if only there were some way that a computer system could keep track of members earning and original fare classes so that Velocity points are posted correctly and automatically without the cost and time of human intervention! How good would that that be?
And I see that the 'Claim Missing Points" tool helpfully "greys out" days less than 14 days ago so you cant put in a claim for incorrect points earning until 14 days have elapsed. Because these sort of errors/mistakes are always fixed/corrected within 14 days aren't they?
