If anyone has any experience please help

My in-laws are flying Etihad (business) from AUH to LHR arriving at 3.15pm to T4 and I was hoping to get them onto either a BA flight from LHR to WAW leaving T5 at 6.10pm or LO flight leaving T2 also for a 6.10pm departure.

My understanding is that EY & BA/ LO do not have co-share or agreements in place so questions are

1. because my in-laws will need to collect their check-in luggage, will they need to clear immigration at T4 and then re-check in at T5/T2? also is there any fast-track immigration for business class?
2. Does anyone know how long this process may take? and is 2hrs and 55mins a reasonable amount of time to do this transfers?
3. Is there any service that can help them as they are in their 60's

If they are on separate tickets then i wouldn't expect EY to check them through however you never know if they ask.
There is FastTrack however if on Aussie passports the egates are usually way faster.
I wouldnt do a connection of 3 hours on separate tickets at LHR. Id give it at least 4 hours.

Yes they would be on seperate tickets as the Business flights are via VA points

Similar question to that posed by the OP. I'm looking at a 0630 arrival into T4 and a land-side connection to T5. Will be travelling with two primary school age kids and will have baggage to collect at T4 and check in at T5. Mix of UK and Aus passports, travelling in Y the weekend before Christmas

Options for theT5 flight are likely to be 0900 or 1250. Would those with experience agree that the earlier flight is much too risky?

With two small kids i wouldnt risk the earlier flight.
