Heathrow is a disaster??

Anyone been through T4 the last few days? Curious to know how long the wait has been

Inward bound, arriving LHR T3 and transferring to T5, in May, took two and a half hours, with Fast Track at all possible points and shameless queue jumping at others, just to make our connections. That was early on a Sunday morning.

Returning T5 to T3 on a Friday evening (28 June) for the flight back to Oz, we were concerned that our three hour connection time may have been inadequate. But, in the event, it was smooth and fast, all areas well staffed and no queues anywhere. Did not even need Fast Track, so it really is the luck of the draw. Unfortunately, you still need to be prepared for it to be hideous. Then it's a pleasant surprise if it is not.
