First of all, thank you for an amazing resource. Thank you also for the laughs when explaining the acronyms. I love the terms used to describe Platinum and Gold frequent flyers. Alas for poor Bronze / Red flyers but I guess that's how the airlines really do treat them.

Personally, am trying to get to SC myself and was about to purchase a J class flight from Brisbane to Melbourne (On Special for 669 OW) but after reading about the ability to do a JASA status run, this has opened my eyes to a whole new way of attaining the lofty heights of WP.. so thank you.

I look forward to learning and hopefully contributing to fellow members... and maybe even participate in a status run party... how fun.

Alas, I just read that the JASA solution for relatively economical SC runs have been canned by QF. Geez why does one feel that QF treats us with disdain??
