I still have no idea what you want. You want people to PM advice to you, about what?!
I don't know why you think you should get advice privately, what makes you so special?
Why should anyone feel the need to send you a private message when all the information is already here.
You've made a good first step, you joined and introduced yourself. Now you need to clarify a few things, like who the 20 points you currently hold are with, and where you've been, where you'd like to go, maybe even why you want/need 250,000 points? These things, this discussion, should all be public, like it is for every other member here.

Are any members of your royal household enrolled in a frequent flyer program? My parents are only occasional travellers and do not chase points/status. I signed them up to the same program as mine so I can transfer their points to my account... This (sky)team effort may also be a (star)ting point on your quest to conquer the (one)world!
No my parents do not do this, I have asked my mother but she is pretty reluctant. I will give it another go and see what happens.
No worries, Matt. My parents live overseas so it's free for them to join Qantas Frequent Flyer. You may need to offer to pay the joining fee for your mum (and organise her flights in future as well so that you're in control)...
I read on another tread that some things are not always discussed on the forum because some of the companies see the loop holes and hence people do not talk about then publicly. Hence why the private message. I contacted you because you alluded to such a point.
I see you've added your location. There are 2 upcoming events in MEL:
http://www.australianfrequentflyer.c...5-a-50232.html (MEL dinner & drinks - Wednesday 5 JUNE 2013 (boxo reprise))
http://www.australianfrequentflyer.c...9-a-50339.html (MEL dinner & drinks - Wednesday 29 MAY 2013 (boxo do #1))
The thing about discussing loop holes that are less public knowledge is you'll find many reluctant to share that information with someone that's just registered. A certain level of trust may be involved.
When I joined the site in 2009, within a month of joining I'd made my way to a "drinks night" and met some of the members, and started learning where to look, or info that wasn't posted. Meeting strangers off the internet is of course, not for everybody, but it certainly works for this website.
Thanks. I will most likely attend both events. I look forward to it.
