i have been a long time reader of this forum but have only now joined up.
the majority of my travel is for pleasure and I usually manage to do a couple of overseas trips plus several domestic journeys each year.

i'm pretty in the same travel situation as yours, all of my flying travels are leisure. we average about 8-10 weeks per year so its pretty cool to just fly in and fly out when we want..

loads of good info here to help you get the most bang out of your buck - well that definitely applies to me give my very limited $$$
