Hi,

I'm trying to book some internal flights on AA.com

After loading all my information, it keeps telling me that my FF number doesn't match my name

Help....

TQ

Have you carefully checked your profile on Qantas.com.

How many digits is your QFF number? Sometimes a leading zero is needed.

I've booked internal flights on AA last year without issue.

I have 7 digits in my qantas FF number

Shall I try again and put a zero in front?

TQ

I have always used a zero in front of my 6 number QFF account and can still never get my QFF number accepted on aa.com.I used to get it fixed by messaging customer relations online but that hasn't worked for 18 months.Mainly it is for mrsdrron so if really needed I will see if they can change it the QF lounge before leaving but then make sure at checkin on AA but recheck in the AA lounge.

Maybe they are "profiling" us, sorting out the riff-raff (just joking). Idiosyncrasies of these systems can be frustrating as I have had no problem with AA, but I do recall retroactive reclaiming points on SA flights and it was telling me the flight never happened.

It can be an issue when booking economy and trying to select seats if you have oneworld status.

It can be an issue when booking economy and trying to select seats if you have oneworld status.

Thats what I was worried about Serfty, as I'm booking economy for myself and two daughters.
As a WP, I also wanted bag allowance and seat selection.

TQ

It looks like it may accept my Qantas FF on AA.com.au site.

Does it make any difference which site you book on?

Thanks

TQ

As TV says the au site is often more expensive-sometimes twice the price.
