Hi All,
I am based in Perth and currently planning a short (2 wks) trip to South America later on this year. Most probably to Brazil because there are direct flights (via Doha) and J availablity with Qatar. I plan to burn my Avios for GRU-DOH-PER, so that's one-way sorted :) Now I just have to figure out whats the best way to get there, apart from PER-DOH-GRU (as it will have to be Y all the way ,ouch!) . I currently have 160k Velocity, 121k Krisflyer, and 120k QFF ( prefer to leave the QFF alone though as i am saving for OW award ticket in the future). Main priority will be: utilizing my Velocity and KF, the shortest route POSSIBLE, and then the pricing. Of course I'd rather fly in J but if it means much less stopover/shorter duration, I'm prepared to schlep in in Y :D I am open to all ideas, including paid Y tickets.

Looking forward to interesting ideas from you all the experts here!! :)

Can you use KF miles to go from SIN to GRU via IST with Turkish, or even with Ethiopian via Addis Ababa?

Both seem to have good connections.
my search on KF website showed Saver award for "SIN-IST" available and "IST-GRU" available, as 2 stand-alone bookings. Nothing come up when searching for SIN-GRU :( it's a viable suggestion as I can use my KF for one of the legs, regardless. Thanks @NamarrgonFlyer :)
