Help! Looking for Business award space MEL-LAX for 2

Have you tried QF from Brisbane - LAX - you need to be flexible. That is the only way I found 2 seats from LAX to get home to MEL in business as for months I couldn't get two seats directly to Melbourne (or Sydney). From memory the points are the same with the extra domestic leg added in.

Have you considered looking at Star Alliance awards through Lifemiles? United usually tends to have ok redemption availability SYD/MEL to LAX or SFO.
