Hi everyone

I have a booking that I now need to cancel. I was hoping you could help me interpret the following cancellation policy. Specifically, is the deposit refundable?

Thanks for your help.

Agree the full details would help but on what you've published i'd assume that if you cancel by 4pm on 16/6 then you get your money back (if charged already).

From that, I would normally read that the deposit would be refunded if cancelled prior to 4pm.

It is easier if hotels just leave out the deposit requirement (most do) but each property is different!

Surely it would be easier if the Hilton just had standard policies that are set out for each discrete circumstance?

You would think.

It seems that every hotel can write their own policies so there can be quite a variation in how the same condition is expressed. Not just with Hilton properties, in fact they are probably better than most!
