Hello.

I'm looking to book a classic reward points flight for March 2023 which I may end up cancelling.

According to this page, if I book by the end of September, I can cancel for free until the end of the year. https://www.qantas.com/au/en/frequent-flyer/member-offers/flexible-classic-flight-rewards.html

What isn't clear to me is whether the booking itself has to be for flights before the end of the year as well. i.e. if I book today for flights in Mar 2023, and cancel in December 2022, is the fee still waived?

Thank you

the flight can be whenever, you just need to book before end of September to benefit
Agree. I thought that this was very clear and I have relied upon such a literal interpretation in making my bookings.
