Help with QF mileage run in USA

Looks like the SFO-SEA runs are still there, and do-able in a day return if you do it originating at SEA. Also found a reasonable one, slightly more expensive but still not bad. 420 SC's for around $810 USD (with the 10% discount).

Hey Drewbles,

What was the routing u got for 420 SC's and $810?

Also - the SFO-SEA run is on AS..?? I thought u didn't earn SC on AS with QF, only points..??

Am I missing something here?

AA codeshare flight numbers on AS metal earn SC's and QFF Points as for AA flights.

This is defined in the T&C's:
Code:
American Airlines® (AA) ...

Status Credits are earned on all eligible booking classes

Cheers Serfty,

Must have read the earning table wrong. AS metal with AA codeshare also earns QF Status Bonus if I understand it correctly.

Sure does:

Base/Cabin/status bonus.

AS F is also infinitely nicer than AA (and the fact it books into full F allows you access to the AS Boardrooms in LAX and SEA too, which aren't too bad at all!)

The $810 is only valid until the end of September (providing you use one of the 10% vouchers readily available at present) and book by end of this month. It's from west to east coast and back again, via DFW. I'm having to pay around $910USD for it as I'm going in November and the current 10% vouchers won't allow for it.

(unless anyone out there has a discount voucher they're willing to tell me about, that'll let me use it for NOV travel ;))

If you want info on the route, i'll PM it to you. Don't like to post routes too publicly as good YUP/KUP's are becoming harder to find now (ie I did SFO-LAX-LAS return twice last year for around $400USD return for 240 SC's which equates to around $1.67/SC, a figure which is now hard to find). These fares are now long gone, like the run from LA to MEX and back via a few places, that was even cheaper.
