Takes around 3 months.
That I was my experience, and that was getting the lot back as it was not my fault, it might be different where they are assessing damage costs but I would be surprised at that short a space.
Do you always rent with the downtown branch here?
I have not been renting from Hertz for a long time although I am at present, in fact picked up one this morning. If Helen told you it takes 5 days then I would believe her, her knowledge is tops!
Im more close with Jenny though, which car did you picked up?
Yep. My only experience with Hertz was a nightmare. Took considerable time to resolve.
But depends on the damage, depends on a lot of different things I think.
im getting about 95%(of 3k+) of the excess back, wondering will that be a nightmare to get it back
Ouch. A lot of money to have "parked" with Hertz. Hopefully a quick process for you. Assume it is with the Hertz Insurance area, there are escalation numbers to call if required.
Do you know what's escalation numbers can i call? The Hertz claim dept staff emailed me and told me the money has been released by Hertz but my bank hasn't receive any credit from them.

I was wondering what was the nature of the damage, and how much of the excess charge was refunded? I now have over $3k held on my credit card for some alleged front bumper scratch, and I think that's totally absurd.
