Welcome. Bali is great this time of year, and I've never had a problem with Jetstar.

I sniff fake news - but on the remote premise that this thread is genuine then good luck to you - enjoy every inch of your journey.

I have flown JQ MEL-DPS in Y only a few years back - indeed it was the maiden voyage that 787 undertook in JQ colours - we had a ball. Crew were great - we drank them out of house and home - had a bunch of young pax around us who all joined in the festivities on the daytime flt - it was fabulous.

Return flt I dropped a sleeping tablet after late night dep and they had to shake me awake on arr into MEL - another great flt.

Just be aware JQ sometimes have delays / cancellations - nothing is guaranteed.

And disregard the negative posts from the sheep - it’s kinda like a badge of honour for some to post negative responses re a LCC - do it your way and enjoy every minute.

But I still sniff fake news.

I enjoy Bali too but as we fly from Bne to Dps on a JQ flight (there is no QF flight available from Brisbane) there is no lounge access for us in Denpasar on our departure. We fly economy and access to the lounge is only on a QF ticket not a JQ. I think the JQ flight times are better suited to us as we can fly during the day. So its a toss up, lounge access via Virgin or better flight times with JQ.

I don't mind JQ either but I can't get my head around the thought of leaving you stranded for 2-3 days through their own delays/cancellations.
