Hi all - how did I go with the lingo??
I've been a lurker for about 3 weeks now so figured I'd join and introduce myself. Love reading the trip reports and am hoping to write one myself shortly!

MrLW and I are off on a round the world trip in June, with Finnair but flying in and out of Australia with Qantas. Paid cash and so my interest in points gathering was sparked by the fact we’ll get around 40k points each and may even achieve QFF gold status. Now I have to figure out the best way to use that (and collect more) and that’s where I’m hoping AFF can help educate me.

Our trip covers Tokyo, Helsinki, Barcelona, Lisbon, NYC, Las Vegas and LA.

We aren’t usually business class travellers however have always wanted to go RTW and what better way to do it (apart from in F of course). We were lucky enough to be upgraded on Emirates A380 to J Dubai – London on our honeymoon so I think that’s ruined our tolerance for economy…!

Thanks for reading and hope to see you around

Welcome from another Radeladian @LaceyWanderlust30,
are you aware that there is an ADL social gathering this Saturday that you are welcome to come along to?
I need to know pretty much straight away if you (and a guest?) would like to come along as I have to confirm numbers with the restaurant tomorrow night.
