Have been reading the forum via the app for sometime now but thought I may as well register so I can also reply to a few topics. Always on the hunt for a good OS flight deal

Also will be looking to switch over my credit cards to maximise point earnings so happy to take on any advice.

Originally was and have been predominantly a qf flyer. In saying that have started taking a lot more virgin flights this year. Had 5 VA flights about 4 weeks ago that I'm still trying to get credited missing points for since they cancelled my original first trip leg so all my subsequent legs also changed from my original itinerary. Been a complete pain trying to get credited for those points which does not make my regards for the velocity club in good order.


in saying that I have already 6 more VA flights booked over the next two months and am considering paying an extra $150 on top of TG's BNE-HKT to fly VA's BNE-SIN-HKT. If its going to be this hard every time to claim missing points it does make me wonder.


With the change in main flight provider I've started looking through the forums for suggestions on new cards to apply for in the near future.

Would also like to do a RTW trip in feb14 if all goes to plan
