I have been a member since 2014 but have not been a "poster" til now. The quality and detail of knowledge among the members is amazing and I hope I can contribute too. I am retired now but was an active domestic and international FF from 1985 to 2002 - yes I lost 300k pts on Ansett too!! I fly mostly international these days for pleasure with my better half often on points or a good $$$$ deal when I can find one.

Welcome to the world of posting BrendanC - now you have started there is no reason to stop

Welcome BrendanC, I'm in same boat mostly self funded now so our favourite has been buying AA or AS miles to sit in J for around 1/3 cost and using our QFF points to go out of Asia to avoid the outrageous Qantas fees and charges.
